PPO4 A phosphoproteomic database is under construction, version 1.0 is coming soon
Click here for in-house characterised phosphoproteomic data
The core of PPO4 is
a database of phosphorylation sites which are manually acquired through
literature mining. These sites are then mapped across three species, human rat
and mouse by comparative sequence analysis. Each site has a unique identifier
which maps to entries in UniProt and PPID.
PPO4 Utilities:
Cognate
kinases/phosphatases and relevant functional
information
+15/-15 phosphorylation site consensus sequences for
refined prediction of kinase substrate motifs.
Virtual 2D map of all proteins in the database showing
spot shifts due to phosphorylation, 1, 2, 3 etc no of phosphorylations
Tryptic phosphopeptide mapping, MW PI and other
biochemical characteristics
